Classroom Managment
I believe creating opportunities for students to use higher-level thinking is the best way to help students thrive in school and life. Book smarts will only get you so far in life; people who can think “outside the box” live lives that are more fruitful. In order for a child to learn, he or she must feel safe to take risks and try new things. To create a safe learning environment, I implement simple classroom rules and require all students to respect school property, teachers, other students, and themselves. I believe students feel more comfortable when they know what is expect of them and when they can predict both my personality and teaching schedule.
